Loam
The City request bids to furnish and deliver loam, FOB Destination to various locations throughout the City for a period of three (3) years. One (1) additional three (3) year renewal option is contemplated contingent upon mutual agreement of the parties.
Loam shall be natural, friable and fertile, possessing the characteristics of representative soils in the vicinity and be reasonable free from subsoil, brush, objectionable weeds, litter, clay lumps, stones, stumps, roots or other objects larger than two (2) inches in diameter. It shall also be free of toxic substances or any other material or substance, which might be harmful to plants or a hindrance to grading, planting and maintenance operations.
