Little River Terrace Re-roofing Phase I
Description of the Work AND Cost Estimate: This is a re-roofing project. Contractor must provide all required documentation/plans to obatin and pay for all required tests, and inspections in order to perfom the job. Contractor to supply all necessatry work, labor, tools, and tests necessary for a total completion of the work as specified by MDPHA. Contractor shall be solely responsible for all technical code compliance requirements of the work. The scope of work includes the complete removal of all existing roofs components down to the existing deck, shingles re-roofing, and the replacement of all existing roofs metal-flashings (26 gauge) at all indicated twenty-one (21) scattered residential dwellings, including roofs asbestos containing materials (ACM) removal as per Asbestos Consultants removal work action plan for (7) of the residential buildings requiring re-roofing work (See Asbestos Roof Work Plan Removal Attachment in Bid documents). Construction site shall be cleared on a daily basis of construction materials. Performance and Payment Bond: A 100% Performance and Payment Bond is required if the total Bid exceeds $100,000.00 including contingency and MDHA allowances (if applicable). Only Money Orders or Cashiers Checks payable to Miami Dade Housing Agency will be accepted to acquire bid documents. Sealed Bids for the project will be received for and on behalf of Miami-Dade County, by Miami Dade Housing Agency offices at 1401 NW 7th Street, Building 'B', second floor, Miami, Florida, 33125 no later than 10:00 a.m. local time, Tuesday, June 16, 2009 where they will be publicly opened and read aloud.
