Linear Park Design Services
The Town is soliciting responses from qualified professional design firms (architectural/engineering/landscape architecture) to provide design services. The Park will provide a unique opportunity for both recreation and environmental observation and education for Island residents and visitors alike.
The project includes detailed design, permitting, and construction phase services for a linear park trail connecting the parks through an integrated system of pathways, boardwalks, trails, and at-grade pedestrian crossings, as well as observation piers/platforms, restroom facilities, changing facilities, parking infrastructure, utilities, lighting, landscaping, signage including interpretive signs, and site furnishings. Future project phases may include a pedestrian overpass.
