The United States Navy Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Metrology and Calibration (METCAL) has a requirement for a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract with an initial order for a quantity of 3 each Class A Linear Amplifiers to be ordered on the initial order, and an option to purchase an additional quantity of twenty-two (22) each Class A Linear Amplifiers which may be exercised upon successful completion of initial evaluation and a time not to exceed twelve (12) months after contract award. The Linear Class A Amplifiers shall comply with the specifications listed in Calibration Standards Specification (CSS) 02-3258B and be in compliance with the Statement of Work (SOW) . The Linear Class A Amplifier requirements are well defined in the CSS and SOW such that firm fixed prices for a qualified product will be established in the contract.

This requirement is solicited as a Small Business Set Aside with full and open competition between all categories of small businesses, award made to the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable Offeror. Federal Acquisition Regulation 12.6 Streamlined Procedures for the Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items and 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items shall be utilized.


Proposals must demonstrate compliance with all technical requirements identified in CSS 02-3258B (see CSS 02-3258B and Evaluation Checklist, included with RFP. To determine the technical acceptability, all proposals will be evaluated on an "Acceptable" or "Unacceptable" basis. Technical and Price are the only factors that will be evaluated.


As stated above, the minimum quantity of the contract is 3 each Linear Class A Amplifiers to be ordered on the initial order, and an option for an additional 22 each Linear Class A Amplifiers which may be ordered during the option exercise period.
