Lighting Design Services
The City of Cambridge, MA seeks proposals from qualified Lighting Design Consultants. The City wishes to establish standards for the City's lighting inventory (luminaires, poles, bases, control boxes, conduit and wiring systems). The standards need to accommodate lighting for a variety of street conditions (residential development, commercial development, historic districts, etc.), parking lots, and open areas such as parks and plazas. The lighting will include both pedestrian and roadway scale fixtures. The contract shall be for a period of one year with two one-year options to renew at the sole discretion of the City for the purpose of providing on-call services to assist City staff in reviewing consultant proposals, modifying standards to address concerns, and refining lighting designs for specific streets.
