This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) FAR Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR Part 13.5 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-72.
This procurement is for the NOAA NMFS. The Contractor shall develop simulation models to evaluate the potential effects of water project operations and habitat restoration on the dynamics of Chinook salmon populations in California's Central Valley accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW) located in the RFQ - AB-133F-14-RQ-0415 document.
The NAICS code utilized for this procurement is 541712-Research and development in the physical, engineering, and life sciences (except biotechnology) and the size standard is 500. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for Small Business's under NAICS code 541712.
