License and Operate Restaurant/Courtyard

The City, within the
licensees operational and fiscal constraints, is interested in a caf that is known as a place
where friends, colleagues, and family spend time chatting, people-watching, or doing almost
nothing at all. Additional sales potential from visitors to art exhibitions, concerts and cultural
events is extremely attractive. Such a neighborhood fixture can render a whole neighborhood
more enjoyable, and catalyze further development.
To this end, the City has a licensing opportunity for the successful bidder to operate
the Restaurant and its courtyard. The license to operate the food service concession shall be
granted on the condition that all required licenses have been obtained. The City shall retain all
rights of entry including the area of Licensees operation to perform
emergency repairs as well as for flood pumping operations at any time as required, and a right
of entry during concession business hours to inspect, maintain and repair
building systems as necessary.
