License Testing Services
The Division issues registrations, licenses and permits to people and companies working in the fire alarm, extinguisher, sprinkler and fireworks industries. Individuals wishing to work in these industries must successfully pass a written closed book test before obtaining a license.
The Division currently subcontracts the administration of these tests. The intent of this RFP is to outsource the testing process, with the Division retaining control of the licensing process.
The selected contractor will perform test administration services under a contract. The Division will provide all questions, answers, diagrams, charts and pictures for the tests to be administered by the selected contractor.
