Mandatory pre-bid conference 07/22/2010.
The work includes 10,520 square feet of new construction, and 7,200 square feet of alterations to the existing structure. The new construction includes a single story, slab on grade floor and spread footing foundations, steel column-and-beam framing with conventional steel roof joists and structural metal decking over some areas, and prefabricated wood trusses and standing seam metal roof over the remaining areas. The existing structure will be re-roofed with rigid insulation and standing seam metal. The new exterior walls consist of steel stud and masonry veneer cavity walls, to 6-8 above finished floor; and v-groove, cedar siding above 6-8. The new interior walls are metal stud with gypsum board finish. Also included are prefinished aluminum automatic sliding entrance door systems, large-missile impact windows, low-slope insulated modified bitumen roofing system, standing seam metal roof, suspended acoustical ceiling systems, various interior finishes, ceiling acoustical treatments, and interior millwork. Additionally, the work includes demolition to the existing structure, as well as, civil site work, structural, roof scuppers, roof drains, fire sprinkler protection, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical. There is also masonry and cedar fenced mechanical chiller yard and dumpster enclosure, along with associated paved parking and drive areas, landscaping and exterior concrete walks and patios.
