The Southwestern Illinois Flood Prevention District Council (the Council) is requesting
proposals from firms or individuals to conduct certification inspections of levee systems
along the Mississippi River in Madison, St. Clair and Monroe Counties. The inspections
will determine compliance with regulations of the Federal Emergency Management
Agency, 44 CFR 65.10 (Mapping of Areas Protected by Levee Systems).
