The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) Federal Corrections Complex (FCC) Tucson may have a future requirement and is seeking any interested vendors whom are licensed contractors to furnish, supply and install all equipment, materials, components and labor required to replace the, existing, Lethal/Non-Lethal Electrified Fence System at USP Tucson, AZ. The existing electrified fence was manufactured and installed by Sigcom/GDI and uses a DC current in Lethal Mode. The replacement electrified fence will use D/C current in the Non-Lethal mode and automatically switch to A/C current in the Lethal Mode. FBOP requires a ''turnkey" effort that includes infrastructure design, implementation, furnishing of equipment, site preparation, systems integration, acceptance testing, training, warranty and maintenance support after warranty expires. The system must be a fully functioning system free of all and any defects. The System must be robust and reliable, capable of withstanding harsh climates and operating conditions. Additional services required include preventative maintenance, on-site infrastructure response, infrastructure repair, technical support, on-site dispatch service and maintenance service shall include, but not limited to, 24/7; 365 days a year maintenance coverage that provides a 4 hours response time, 48 hours restoration time for major system failures, technical support, and fault code notification monitoring.

The location of the requirement will be located at USP Tucson at 9300 S. Wilmot Rd. Tucson, Arizona 85756. Please refer to the draft Statement of Work for more details.
The Government contemplates awarding of a firm-fixed-price purchase order from the future solicitation. A Government solicitation document to provide these supplies is being developed, and a contract may or may not result. Market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement. All future information about this acquisition, including the solicitation and/or amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information regarding this acquisition.
