The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of a legal assistance program for inmates at the United States Penitentiary (USP) Leavenworth, Kansas.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541199 (Size Standard: $11,000,000). This solicitation is being issued as unrestricted.


The Government contemplates awarding of a contracts with firm-fixed unit prices resulting from this solicitation. The anticipated Effective Date of Award (EDOA) is June 1, 2019. The resulting contract will include a base period from the EDOA through September 30, 2019 with four (4) possible 12-month option periods for renewal at the discretion of the Government. There is an estimated quantity of 480 sessions for the base period and 1,440 sessions/hours per option year there after. All duties shall be performed in accordance with standards and methods generally accepted within the industry and in compliance with all Federal and State policies and regulations.


The solicitation will be made available on or about January 22, 2019 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site.
