Lean Depot Management System (LDMS)
This requirement is in support of the USAF Gunsmith Shop (GSS) for the implementation of the Lean Depot Management System (LDMS). The requirement includes providing a tailored and detailed implementation plan, identification of compatible hardware/software requirements. LDMS will allow visibility and traceability of all weapons/parts to meet Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) compliance. This will also facilitate the GSS in operating and functioning as a depot repair facility and align them with maintenance information systems already in use today by other USAF depots.
The effort is anticipated to be Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) with a period of performance of one-6 month base and two-3 month options. The Government anticipates to award this sole source effort to Raytheon Company, CAGE Code 4U884, in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
The Government invites all sources who feel qualified to submit proposals and technical data for review, but the Government requires that the awardee of this effort be ready to perform at full capacity upon contract award. It should be noted this requirement will not be delayed for qualification purposes. No paper copies of solicitation will be mailed.
