RFP

The College is soliciting proposals to provide Lead Renovation, Repair and Painting (Lead RRP) training for the students in the Brownfields Job Training program being offered through an American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 grant awarded by the Environmental Protection Agency.

The period of performance of any contract awarded as a result of this Letter to Request Bids is tentatively scheduled to begin on or about October 4, 2010 and be in force to accommodate students referred to the training by Clover Park Technical College through December, 2012.

Bidders are asked to bid by quoting a "per student" cost for this eight (8) hour training. Clover Park Technical College does not anticipate the selected contractor's involvement beyond December, 2012. However, if Clover Park Technical College, in conjunction with the grant's fiscal partner, City of Tacoma, determines it is necessary to increase the contractor's involvement, the contract may be amended to increase the contractor's involvement. Such an amendment, if any, to increase or decrease the dollar value and extend the period of performance shall be at the sole discretion of Clover Park Technical College and the City of Tacoma.
