Layout Creek Bridge Fabrication
The Gifford Pinchot National Forest intends to procure by contract bridge fabrication and delivery. This work consists of fabricating, storing and delivering all precast components and accessory hardware for a 45 foot overall length, skewed, simple-span, voided slab vehicular bridge based on the provided design to the delivery site. The bridge superstructure shall consist of four skewed, pre-stressed, voided slabs as required by the design. These will include two interior slabs and two exterior slabs with integral curbs.
This acquisition is a 100% set-aside for Total Small Business. The applicable NAICS code is 237310 - Highway, Street and Bridge Construction. The corresponding size standard is $33.5 million. The location of this project is on the Gifford Pinchot National Forest. All potential offerors shall be PCI B4 certified. Offerors will be evaluated on price, technical capability (similar experience - minimum of 5 years) and past performance. The contract will be awarded to the offeror whose submittal, in compliance with the solicitation, is the best value to the Government. The Government total estimated value is between $25,000 and $100,000.
The solicitation for this project will be issued on or around March 6, 2014 with offers due around March 25, 2014. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the government. In accordance with FAR 4.1102(a), prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of a contract. Lack of registration in SAM on the part of the offeror will render an offeror ineligible for award.
