THIS IS A RFI ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. IF A SOLICITATION IS ISSUED IT WILL BE ANNOUNCED AT A LATER DATE, AND ALL INTERESTED PARTIES MUST RESPOND TO THAT SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT SEPARATELY FROM THE RESPONSES TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT.


 


United States Coast Guard (USCG) Base National Capital Region (BNCR) is conducting market research to determine the availability of obtaining from potential offeror laundry services for the U.S. Coast Guard Base National Capital Region HSWL Clinic. Vendor must have a current Healthcare Laundry Accreditation Council (HLAC) in order to be considered. This accreditation must remain current throughout the life of the contract and vendor must provide a quarterly report on its HLAC accreditation status. 


 


 Vendor would be required to provide a weekly service for the following:


 


- Full set of medical scrubs in navy blue. Scrubs should be delivered folded and placed in individual lockers that will be marked for each person on the medical team. Vendor shall provide 12 sets per person for a 20 person team.


-White medical lab coats. Vendor shall provide 4 per week for a 15 person medical team.


- Thermal blankets at a quantity of 5 per month.


- 24 cubicle curtains shall be provided by vendor. 18 curtains to be laundered once per quarter and 6 to be laundered on a monthly basis, unless soiled and need to be laundered sooner.


- Vendor must provide three (3) medical biohazard hamper that will be used for soiled linen. This hamper shall be replaced on an as needed basis.


- Vendor should agree to accommodate sizes XXS to XXXL. In addition vendor should agree to accommodate size changes for team members within 30 days.


 


This information is subject to change and is not binding to the Government. Updated information will be provided in future announcements. The Government shall not reimburse the costs of preparing responses to this request for information/sources sought notice.


Any offeror that believes it can provide the stated services must provide:


 

•1.       Supporting documents demonstrating their technical capability to meet the requirement.

 

•2.       Indicate in the response whether the offeror is a large or small business.

•3.       Indicate in their response if the offeror is registered in the Systems for Award Management (SAM)


 


Based on responses to this notice, USCG may or may not choose to compete this proposed requirement.
