This procurement is being solicited under FAR Subpart 13.5 - Commercial Test Program Procedures. It is coded "1-C / Procure from Approved Sources", and
solicitation is being issued "Totally Set Aside for Small Businesses". It is for a quantity of 6,000 EA of NSN: 5310-00-784-5961; manufactured by United Technologies Corp / Pratt & Whitney (77445) and/or by the six (6) Approved Manufacturing Sources mentioned above. This solicitation requests offers on a stock basis only. A firm fixed-price contract, containing a 100% quantity option is contemplated. The quantity option may be exercised within twelve (12) month from contract award date; if demand warrants. Contract due date will be effective at the time the total quantity had been shipped, including the optioned quantity, if exercised.
All offers shall be in the English language, and preferably in US Dollars. Offers must be provided in a unit price including two decimal places. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Reverse Auction may be used during the award evaluation process.
Proposals will be evaluated to determine compliance with the terms and conditions of the solicitation. During the award evaluation process, Contractor's Past Performance will be more important than price.
Buy American Act applies.
NSN: 5310-00-784-5961 does not have Surge & Sustainment requirements.
The anticipated award date is August 29, 2014.
Expected delivery is 250 days.
