Large Boiler Preventative Maintenance and Emergency Services
The State of Maine through the Bureaus Property Management Division is seeking proposals to provide a plan for preventive maintenance/emergency service for large boilers in the Augusta, Hallowell and Vassalboro area. The resulting contract will provide for annual equipment cleaning and 24 hour/seven day-a-week on-call service with a response time of one hour at the locations. The contract provider of this service shall also maintain an inventory of parts. Details associated with this request are found in the Request for Proposal (RFP). An optional walk- through of some locations for potential bidders has been scheduled for Tuesday, February 10th. Participants are asked to gather in Room 109 of the Cross Office Building at 9:00 a.m. on that date.

Four (4) sealed copies of the bidders proposal must be clearly marked Proposal for Large Boiler Cleaning and delivered to the Division of Purchases, Burton M. Cross Office Building, 4th Floor, 111 Sewall Street, 9 State House Station, Augusta, ME 04333-0009, no later than 2:00 p.m., local time, on February 25, 2009. Please note that only proposals actually at the 4th floor of the Cross Office Building at or prior to the stated time will be considered; bidders submitting proposals by mail are responsible for allowing adequate time for delivery. Proposals received after the 2:00 p.m. deadline will be rejected, without exception.
