To improve and/or enhance the ability of the Fairmount Park Commission and the Department of
Recreations facilities to better serve their users. The emphasis in recreation facility construction is to
provide safe, durable, tested building materials, ease of maintenance and operation, accessibility, and
minimized opportunities for vandalism. The Fairmount Park and Recreation Teams of the Department of
Public have met and discussed the goals and objectives of this project with the User Agency, District
Councilperson and staff.
