Landfill Tipping Fees
The Federal Bureau of Prisons, FCI Otisville, New York intends to make a single award for the provision of landfill services for the disposal of Solid Non-Hazardous waste from FCI Otisville.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 562212 (Size Standard: $38,500,000). This solicitation is being issued on an unrestricted basis.
The Government contemplates awarding an indefinite-quantity, requirements-type contract with firm-fixed unit prices resulting from this solicitation. The contract period shall consist of a one year Period (12 months from start date). All amounts are estimated and are not a guarantee of revenue for the successful vendor. All duties shall be performed in accordance with standards and methods generally accepted within the industry and in compliance with all Federal, State, and local policies and regulations. The contractor will provide services in accordance with the Statement of Work.
The Government anticipates disposing of 540 tons of solid waste annually. The winning vendor will be required to bill the institution on a monthly basis based upon actual tonnage to be weighed at the landfill. Payment will be made by EFT or through the use of the Government Purchase Card. Quotes will be evaluated on the following factors,

All evaluation factors will be considered equal to one another.
The solicitation will be made available on or about November 7, 2018 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. This solicitation is unrestricted for business. Faith-based and community-based organizations can submit quotations equally with other organization for contracts for which they are eligible. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties must be registered in the System for Award Management, SAM.gov to be eligible for award. Quotes will be due back no later than November 19th at 11:00am EST.
