Land Use Permit Tracking Software
The City is soliciting proposals for a land use permit tracking system. The solution must facilitate the workflow, timeline, and management of land use permit submissions in the City, from staff review to public hearing to notice of decision to construction. Business rules and processes should be automated as much as possible to eliminate human error and improve staff efficiencies. The solution must be flexible enough to handle special cases and exceptions to the standard set of permit process workflows. The solution should allow management the ability to review and balance the workload of planners as they take each permit application through their specific workflows. Other analytical tools we would like to see include ad hoc querying of permit data, as well as historical trend analysis based on past permit data. The solution should be GIS-centric, and have the ability to reference existing spatial data. Other processes we would like to see automated include the generation and posting of meeting packets for Zoning Adjustment Board meetings. Meeting packets may include staff reports, findings and conditions, project plans, applicant statements, site photos, and notices of public hearing.
