Lake Inverness Dam Rehabilitation Project
Work will include the provision of all materials and labor to provide for the removal of the existing spillway system and internal drainage structures from the Lake Inverness Dam (Category 1- high hazard), located in the Lakeside at Berkeley Manor subdivision. A new principal spillway system, consisting of reinforced concrete riser structure and a 60-inch reinforced concrete pressure pipe will be constructed in the dam. A new auxiliary spillway, consisting of an articulated block-lined channel. A portion of the embankment will be removed and re-compacted in order to construct the new spillways. A new internal drainage system will also be installed within the dam. Sediment accumulations in the lake bed will also be removed as part of this project
