Lake Branch Large Wood Placement
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes/proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
The solicitation number is AG-046W-S-14-0021 and issued as a Request For Proposal (RFP).
The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-73.
This is a small business set-aside with an associated NAICS code of 481212 and small business size standard of 1,500 employees.
The work includes log delivery and floodplain restoration. Due to the nature of this project it will be accomplished by a heavy-lift helicopter capable of lifting 10,000 pounds or more. The Contractor will provide services to transport and place logs, some with root wads attached, from log deck site(s) to flagged destinations in and along the Lake Branch. A Pre-Proposal Conference is scheduled for June 19, 2014 at 10:00AM at the Hood River Ranger District Office. 6780 Highway 35, Mt. Hood-Parkdale, OR 97041.
The date, time and place offers are due is June 30, 2014 at 2:00PM. Submit original offer to Mt. Hood National Forest Headquarters, Attention: Donna Mullen 16400 Champion Way, Sandy, OR 97055.
