Laboratory services in Guam
THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention(CDC), intends to issue a modification to contract 200-2010-36198, awarded to Dignostic Laborory Services in Aiea, Hawaii, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii). The purpose of this modification is to include one additional site: Guam Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS). The govenmnet anticipates that an award to any other vendor would result in substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition; and unacceptable delays.
This notice of intent is for informational purposes only. It is neither a request for proposals nor a solicitation for offers. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination to compete this procurement based on a response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested parties who believe they possess the capabilities to satisfy this requirement may submit a capability statement demonstrating their abilities to meet this requirement. All responses must be received by August 05, 2014, at 2:30PM, in accordance to FAR authority 5.203 (A) (1), Eastern Standard Time (EST).
