Laboratory Services
It is expected that applicants will be able to provide the following services:
pick up specimens at least one time per day from each of the six clinic sites
accommodate stat laboratory pick ups as needed (estimated 1-2 per month)
provide specimen collection materials
provide timely results (at minimum, positive labs faxed or called; hard copies of all laboratory
reports delivered to the six sites daily)
It is also expected that applicants will be able to provide technical consultation to staff as needed on
developing and updating protocols for laboratory procedures and interpretation of results. This RFP is for
a three year time period beginning January 1, 2010 through December 31, 2012, with the second year and
third years contingent upon funding, program needs, and performance.
