The US Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District is seeking sources to provide personnel, materials, supplies, equipment, transportation, supervision and other items and services necessary to perform weed control throughout recreation areas along Lower Granite Lake, Lake Bryan and the Lake West. The contractor shall adhere and follow the guidelines mandated by the Pest Management Program, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District Managed lands. This contract is a fixed-price, performance-based service contract where desired outcomes are defined and measured while contractor methods are generally not constrained or directed.

The work items under this PWS are performed in the following areas:

1.1.1 The Lower Granite Natural Resources Management (LGR NRM) maintenance yard, Greenbelt Boat Ramp (includes area around office), Chestnut Beach (includes Nave's Pit/Welding Shop area, Swallows Park area, USFS area, Swallows Island, and Swallows South Island are all within Lower Granite Lake and are located in and adjacent to the town of Clarkston, Washington.

1.1.2 The Asotin Boat Ramp and City of Asotin areas also within Lower Granite Lake are located adjacent to the town of Asotin, Washington.

1.1.3 Nisqually John Landing, Blyton Landing, Wawawai Landing (includes Granite Point), and associated primitive camping areas, located along the north shore of Lower Granite Lake, down river from Clarkston.

1.1.4 Offield Landing (includes South Shore Forebay), Lower Granite Esplanade, Septic Field, LGR North Shore Tailrace area, Illia Housing Area, LGR Juvenile Fish Facility and LGR Dam Embankment are all in close relative proximity to Lower Granite Dam.


1.1.5 Illia Dunes recreational area, Illia Landing, Lambi Creek, Willow Landing, Little Goose Landing are all within Lake Bryan area.

1.1.6 Little Goose Esplanade, Little Goose (LGO) South shore area, LGO North Shore Tailrace, LGO Juvenile fish Facility, LGO Resource Yard and LGO Dam Embankment area are all in close proximity to Little Goose Dam.

1.1.7 Riparia Park, Texas Rapids and North Shore Lower Monumental are within Lake West area.

The work shall include but is not limited to vegetation control; planter bed maintenance; lawn and field maintenance for noxious weed control (Refer to Pest Management Program, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District Managed Lands).

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 561730 and the associated small business size standard is $8,000,000.00.

This is not a solicitation. This sources-sought announcement is a tool to identify businesses with the capability to accomplish the work. Firms who respond to this announcement by submitting the following information will be used in determining whether to set aside this requirement. Please do not respond to this notice unless you will be responding to the solicitation.

1) A capability statement expressing interest in this requirement, describing your company and its capability to complete a project of this scope, magnitude and complexity. Include a statement detailing any special qualifications and certifications, applicable to the scope of this project, held by your firm and/or in-house personnel.

2) A statement or list of your firm's current or past technical experience similar to or the same as the summary scope of work for this requirement. Include a brief description of each project scope, schedule, and dollar value.

3) A statement or list of your firm's current or past performance similar to or the same as the summary scope of work.

4) A statement of your firm's business size and type (Large Business, Women Owned Small Business, HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned, 8(a), Small Business, etc.). IF YOUR FIRM IS A LARGE BUSINESS, please indicate the approximate percentage of the work that you would expect to subcontract to small business concerns.

5) Name of firm with address, phone and point of contact.

6) CAGE Code and DUNS number or a copy of your System for Award Management (SAM) information.
