This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Department of Veterans Affairs, C.W. Bill Young VAHCS has a need to procure (Brand Name Only), OLYMPUS AMERICA, INC.; In-Accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b), solicit from a single source for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold: Fourteen (14) each MAJ-1545: MAJ-1545 RFID SCOPE TAG AND 2 BANDS and Fourteen (14) each LF-GP: LF-GP TRACHEAL INTUBATION FIBE RSCCOPE-PO for the Medicine Service. The RFQ number is VA248-17-Q-0589.
This combined synopsis solicitation RFQ and the provisions and clauses incorporated are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95 (01/19/17).
The combined synopsis solicitation is 100% Set-Aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOSB) and Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB). Preference may be given to SDVOSB. The NAICS is 339113; business size standard is 750 employees. Note, Interested Service Disabled/Veteran Owned Small Business [SDVOSB/VOSB] Offerors must be listed and registered in Vetbiz.gov to be considered for Award.
This combined synopsis solicitation is for the purchase of Olympus of America, Inc. equipment listed above in paragraph one and below in the DESCRIPITON OF REQUIREMENT section. Responses shall be on an all or none bases, no partial submission. The Government reserves the right to make no award at all.
