LEICA MICROTOME & TISSUE EMBEDDING CENTER BRAND NAME
The Department of Veterans Affairs Mid Atlantic Health Care Network (VISN 6) intends to negotiate a brand name procurement for Leica Microtome RM2235 and Embedding Center EG1150H, for the VA Medical Center in Beckley, WV. All prices will be firm-fixed-price. The proposed contract is for equipment for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with restricted sources under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(c). This procurement is 100% set-aside for Small Business. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than Noon, June 11, 2014, local time. Interested parties must submit all technical information required to make a determination the proposed units meet or exceed the specifications of the above referenced units. A determination by the Government not to restrict this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a unrestricted procurement.
