Red River Army Depot (RRAD), Texarkana, Texas, 75507, has a brand-name or equal requirement for 50 LED Blast Lights, Western Technology Model 3475-80.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.


Solicitation number W911RQ-18-T-0001 is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ).


This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-97.


This RFQ is a 100% small business set-aside for NAICS 335122 with a small business size standard of 500.


This RFQ has one (1) line item title Brand-name or equal to Western Technology LED Blast Light Model 3475-80; quantities 50; unit of measure is each.

The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The specific evaluation criterion to be included in paragraph (a) of this provision is as follows:


The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers in the order of importance listed below:


(i) technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement;
(ii) price;
(iii) past performance.
