This procurement is for NSNs 5340-01-393-7747 - (13230E4878), 5340-01-393-7743 -(13230E4887), 5340-01-393-7744 - (13230E4877), and 5340-01-393-7444 -(13230E4888). The item description is butt hinge leaf. The approved source is Aluminum Precision Products. Contractors who wish to become an approved source may submit a Source Approval Request (SAR) package to be considered for future awards contingent upon the review/approval/acceptance of the SAR package. This is an unrestricted procurement. The RFP will be issued as an other than full and open competition. The applicable statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1. The quantity of each PR is 300. These items are identified as Army Critical Safety Items. Source inspection including First Article Testing is required. These are not commercial items. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract in accordance with FAR Part 15. FOB Origin, Source Inspection applies. Price and Past Performance will be evaluation factors. The requested delivery is 240 days. The estimated solicitation issue date is 8/6/19. The solicitation will become available on DIBBS after the issue date.
