LAKE ODESSA FLOOD RECOVERY 2013, LOUISA COUNTY, IOWA
The work includes, but is not limited to, construction of two new spillway structures. Construction of the spillway consists of stripping, excavation, disposition of stripping and excess excavated materials, foundation preparation, impervious embankment, backfill, subgrade preparation, geotextile fabric, compacted filter stone, articulated concrete block mat system, topsoil, drainage stone, and seeding. The work also includes repairs to the damaged levee. Pervious embankment for levee enhancement shall be Contractor furnished.
