Kuwait Land Mobile Radio/ASTRO-25
The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI) is investigating market capability to provide a digital, secure, Land Mobile Radio (LMR) trunked system with the ability to be used by U.S. personnel and Kuwaiti Armed Forces throughout the State of Kuwait. To successfully perform, the contractor must provide a secure Project-25 (P-25) compliant wide area and local area UHF system with integrated voice, data, and Over The Air Re-Key (OTAR) capabilities as an upgrade to the existing P-25 LMR system. The contractor shall provide full turn-key services consisting of project management, system engineering, system staging and testing, system field technical support, system equipment and upgrades, installation, operation, management, maintenance and training.
This is a Request for Information ONLY. No solicitation will be issued at this time. Participation in this effort is strictly voluntary with no cost or obligation to be incurred by the U.S. Government.
Interested parties shall submit a capability statement no later than 5:00 PM Central Time on October 22, 2018. Capability statements shall include: company name, name of system/technology being suggested as well as system technical information, point of contact, address, telephone and email address. The Capability Statement shall also provide a brief description of the company and its capabilities to include its capability of meeting a 90-day mobilization timeline, experience areas, DUNS number, CAGE code, as well as size category and socioeconomic status. Capability statements shall be submitted in Microsoft Word or Adobe Acrobat format and shall be limited to no more than 12 one-sided 8.5x11 inch pages.
