Request for Information (RFI)
Savannah River Nuclear Solutions, LLC (SRNS), which manages and operates portions of the Savannah River Site (SRS) under a Department of Energy (DOE) prime contract, solicits expressions of interest from companies capable of providing maintenance and repairs on the following shredders: Kobra Model 400, Kobra Cyclone and Schleicher - Intimus 602. This RFI is issued to assist with finding potential suppliers interested in this solicitation.
The SRS is located approximately 15 miles south of Aiken, South Carolina and is 310 contiguous square miles.
Maintenance and repairs shall be performed in accordance with the manufacturer's guidelines and standard maintenance agreement that includes the following:
All parts, labor, living expenses, incidentals, and travel. One preventative maintenance visit per year and service calls for the above listed instruments on an unlimited basis. As a minimum the preventive maintenance shall include cleaning of appropriate electrical and mechanical parts, replacement of worn or defective parts to include blades and sharping of blades as necessary to meet subcontractor's specifications. Technician is to be factory trained and qualified per the manufacturer's requirements.
A supplier's response to this RFI does not guarantee they will be selected to participate in the Request for Proposal (RFP).
