The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) desires to lease sufficient Rentable Square Feet (RSF) of existing real property to yield up to approximately 4500 Net Usable Square Feet (NUSF) within Knox County, TN for use as a Veterans Readjustment Counseling Services Center. A minimum of 25 on-site parking spaces (of which, 2ea handicapped) near building entrance is required. The space should be on a city bus route and near the interstate for accessibility. The Department of Veterans Affairs will consider space located in a one story stand-alone existing building as well as a ground floor location in a multi-story office building or within a strip mall/shopping center setting. There must be access to the leased space beyond routine office hours (before 8:00am/ after 4:30pm and on weekends). Offered space must comply with all Government requirements for fire safety, seismic and sustainability standards, and ADA code requirements per the terms of the lease. A fully serviced lease term up to 10 years will be considered.

Space within or fronting the following boundaries will be considered:

North: Middlebrook Pike to Vanosdale Rd.
South: Along Gleason Drive to Morrell Rd to Deane Hill Drive to/along Lyons View Pike
East: Hollywood Avenue North to Middlebrook Pike and South to Kingston Pike
West: Bridgewater Road
Potential offerors shall thoroughly and completely read all documents in the solicitation package accompanying RLP VA249-17-R-0705. Offers are due Wednesday, June 14, 2017, 3:00 pm CST.

Question Submission regarding RLP VA249-17-R-0705 shall be submitted via email only to the Lease Contracting Officer (LCO) no later than Monday, June 5, 2017, 3:00 pm CST. No questions or requests for clarification will be accepted via phone. The LCO will issue an amendment to the RLP no later than Wednesday, June 7, 2017, 3:30 pm CST addressing all questions. If no questions are received, no amendment will be issued.

With respect to all matters relating to the lease acquisition for the subject project, only the LCO shall have the authority to issue and amend the RLP and award a Lease. Interested parties may contact:
