Kitchen Fire Suppression Maintenance
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
This solicitation, FA4686-14-R-0012-Kitchen Fire Suppression Service, is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-76, effective 25 July 2014.
This procurement is Full and Open. The North American Industry Classification code for this procurement is 561621, Security System Services (except Locksmiths). The small business size standard for this procurement is $19 M. The Standard Industry Code is 7382.
Funds are currently unavailable for this requirement. The Government shall not be held liable for any costs incurred by an perspective offeror in preparing their proposal.
The following service is requested in this solicitation: NON-PERSONAL SERVICES: Provide all supervision, personnel, equipment, transportation, material, and other items and services necessary to inspect, maintain and repair semi-annually, and provide on-call repair for kitchen fire suppression units (12 units) located at Beale A.F.B. in accordance with the PWS.
The offeror must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov/index.html/and must have the applicable NAICS code registered. Lack of registration in the SAM database will deem an offeror ineligible for award.
Service Contract Act (SCA) wages applies to the solicitation - https://www.wdol.gov/sca.aspx ; (see Attachment 2).
A site visit will be conducted on 4 September 2014 at 2:00pm. Attendance of this site visit is NOT mandatory for those wishing to submit a quote. In order to attend the site visit, interested parties must submit the attached (attachment entry access list (EAL) to the Contracting office by no later than 9:00am, PST, 2 September 2014. A limit of 2 people per company will apply. Failure to submit request prior to the deadline may result in denial of base access for the site visit.
