The General Services Administration (GSA) is setting aside the contract under the following clause found in the Agreement:
52.219-6, Notice of Total Small Business Set Aside
GSA will be accepting proposals for Ketchikan Federal Building (KFB) Elevator Modernization with the intent to award to one qualified firm without discussions. Offerors are asked to provide itemized pricing for each CLIN group (example: CLIN 0001 and CLIN 0002; CLIN 0003 and CLIN 0004, and so forth) they are using the attached as well as CSI Masterformat Level 4 Break-Out to support pricing (to include all sub-contractor proposals/quotes).

This project covers the installation of a new cabling and modernization of the controls for an elevator at the Ketchikan Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse (KFB) in accordance with the statement of work (SOW) and other supporting technical documents. This elevator is the sole elevator for the KFB, and therefore during this construction timeline occupants will be required to use the stairs.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Contractor shall supply all supervision, equipment, labor and materials to:
All necessary wiring and fittings to upgrade the entire control system shall be furnished.
Provide new non-proprietary state-of-the-art microprocessor-based programmable logic solid state controls, regenerative drive system, and selector system will be provided with the following features:


Fire Service per national and local code requirements
Two-way leveling
All ADA compliant features
Inspection operation
Digital closed loop system
New AC motor
Selective Collective Operation
Fireman Service and other Standard Features
Car and Hall Operating Panels
Wiring
Fire Life Aafety Acceptance Test
