The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Great Lakes Region 5, is announcing an opportunity for the "Judge Kanne's Chambers Door Relocation" project at the Charles A. Halleck Federal Building, 230 North 4th Street, Lafayette, IN

The U.S General Services Administration is seeking to contract the work to relocate the entry door of Judge Kanne's chambers at the Charles A. Halleck Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse at 230 N. 4th St., Lafayette, IN 47901. The work includes but is not limited to; removing and relocating the existing entry door, frame, hardware and associated security devices; construction of a new drywall partition for the relocated door; finished wood casing for the existing door opening; sizing and refinishing the building attic stock marble for the new entry location wainscoting; installing existing building attic stock wall covering in the affected corridor; the addition of a new exit sign and relocation of an existing light switch within the entry corridor.


This procurement is a total small business set aside. Funds are presently available for the project. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 236220 with a size standard of $36.5 million. The total estimated construction cost of this project is less than $25,000. This is a negotiated procurement; there will NOT be a public bid opening.


The awardee will be competitively chosen using Source Selection (FAR 15.3) procedures. The objective of the Source Selection Process is to select a proposal that represents the best value to the government.


All contractors must be active in the System for Award Management (SAM), www.sam.gov, to be considered for award. BE ADVISED: If you are registering a new entity in SAM.gov, you must provide and mail an original, signed notarized letter stating that you are the authorized Entity Administrator before your registration will be activated. If you are updating, or renewing your registration in SAM.gov after 4/27/18, you must also provide a notarized letter before your updated registration will be activated. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading the solicitation and monitoring the website for amendment(s) if any to the solicitation. Offers will be due on or about July 25th 2019 by 4:00pm (ET).
