The City of Kirkland is looking for art to integrate into the park. The new artistic
features should be site specific and engage the historical, cultural, and/or
environmental themes of the park while highlighting the new features. The City
encourages a wide variety of creative ideas from artists. Examples of work include
but are certainly not limited to:
Stepping stones to cross the wetland
A custom railing for the new pedestrian bridge
Features to be embedded in the concrete pavement of the promenade
Features to be embedded in the concrete of the sitting wall
An entry gate at any of the 3 pedestrian pathways into the park from Juanita
Drive
