1.  NOTICE:  This is not a solicitation but rather a Sources Sought Synopsis to determine potential sources for information and planning purposes only.


1.1 The purpose of this Sources Sought is to conduct market research to determine if responsible sources exist, to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive and/or a total Small Business Set-Aside.  The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 811310 which has a corresponding Size standard of 7.5M.  The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement.  The Government is interested in all small businesses to include 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Hubzone, and Women-Owned small business concerns.  The government requests that interested parties respond to this notice if applicable and identify your small business status to the identified NAICS code.  Additionally, please provide any anticipated teaming arrangements, along with a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers for the past three years.  Any responses involving teaming agreements should delineate between the work that will be accomplished by the prime and the work accomplished by the teaming partners.

2.  Program Details: The Equipment services at JBSA-Randolph requirement will provide for the purpose of this Performance Work Statement (PWS), items, repairs, installation modification to equipment and control/monitoring systems installed for AMXG.  Examples of these modifications, installations or repairs may include but not limited to the following:  Associated Duct Work, Air Lines, Audio/Visual Equipment, Bench Lighting Fixtures, Booth Painting Equipment, Chillers, Cutting, Paint booth Doors and hardware, Electrical Controls (AC/DC Electrical Components), Emergency Lighting and lighting re-lamp 10 ft and above, Exit Lighting, , Fuel Systems, Fall Protection, EMCS controls,  Hush houses Equipment electrical and Mechanical, HVAC controls Non Real Property, HVAC units Small (Grills diffusors) Non Real Property, Milling Machine Vertical, Overhead doors, Portable Offices maintenance, Refrigeration Units Non Real Property, Storage systems, Sound Barriers, System furniture removal, UPS, Emergency Power, Vindicator Systems. All installation hook-ups, modifications, repairs require one or more of the following:  Installing conduit, wiring, disconnect/ panel provisions (circuit breaker, on/off switch, safety switch, branch circuit, buss switches, etc,) air lines, water lines,  equipment isolation (concrete pads), compressed gas lines, waste lines. The contractor shall accomplish all services identified in this PWS.

 

3. Industry Days: Industry Days scheduled for 07 March 2017 and 08 March 2017.  Provide responses to below questions no later than 13 March 2017.  Attendees limited to 2 per company.  Provide names of attendees, Driver's License State and Number no later than 24 February 2017.

•2.      Does your company have the capability and manpower to meet the requirements listed in paragraph 2.5 of the PWS, specifically relating to response time?  If not, what would be your company's response time?

•3.      If your company is planning to use sub-contractors to perform any of the services listed in the PWS, please provide the name and address of the sub-contractor?

•4.      Please list your company and sub-contractor NAICS codes that apply to services listed in the PWS?

•5.      Is your company capable to provide all the equipment required to perform services listed in the PWS?

•6.      Are there any services listed in the PWS that your company cannot perform?

•7.      Are there any requirements listed in the PWS that would restrict your company from performing services listed in the PWS?

•8.      On service calls, when does your company start accruing labors hours i.e. when they leave your company or when they arrive on jobsite?
