Job Order Contracting, Miscellaneous General Construction
SCOPE: Furnish and deliver all management, labor, materials and equipment, necessary to perform
the Work described herein. All workmanship and materials shall be first class. All materials and
workmanship associated with this Contract shall meet or exceed all federal, state and local codes.
Contractor shall be fully responsible for ensuring that all Work is conducted in full compliance with
OSHA safety standards and the Universitys Contractor Safety Requirements. Additionally, Contractor
shall ensure that all necessary precautions are taken to designate the area as such, installing proper
signage barricades, and other safety related equipment to secure the safety of the students, faculty,
and staff as well as Contractor's and Subcontractors employees. Work shall be conducted in a professional and courteous manner. Contractor shall be aware of and comply with UNC Charlotte
policies concerning sexual harassment. Any of the Contractor's employees failing to exhibit a
professional behavior will be asked to leave. Such activity could result in the termination of the
Contract. Contractor shall ensure that his employees always arrive to the University in uniform and
wearing a prominently displayed picture identification card containing the employees name and the
company name.
