Jay-Jay Bridge Cross Tie Replacement and Rail System Repairs
This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2019-02. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
This requirement is being procured as a competitive request for quotation (RFQ) to all interested vendors for the purpose of entering into a purchase order for Jay-Jay Bridge Cross Tie Replacement and Rail System Repairs, at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Kennedy Space Center (KSC) in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW). As a result of this solicitation, the Government intends to award a single, firm-fixed-price purchase order.

KSC will host a site visit for prospective offerors on for Tuesday May 21, 2019 at 10:00am Eastern Standard Time. Vendors (no more than 2 per company) shall meet at meet at the NASA Badging Office located on the south side of SR 405 at 8:00 A.M. for escort
RFQ Questions Cutoff Date
Questions and inquiries regarding this RFQ shall be submitted via E-Mail to Dorothy Dearborn at Dorothy.B.Dearborn@nasa.gov no later than 3:00pm, May 23, 2019, Eastern Standard Time, with subject "Questions - 80KSC019Q0010 Rail System Repairs." A consolidated list of answers to all questions received will be distributed to interested vendors. Telephone questions will not be accepted.
RFQ Due Date

NASA has a size limitation of 10MB for each e-mail to a NASA E-mail addressee. The vendor is solely responsible for ensuring that the vendor's quotation or correspondence successfully transmits to, and is received by its intended NASA E-Mail addressee by the closing date and time specified in the RFQ. The vendor is advised to immediately contact the intended e-mail addressee for acknowledgement of e-mail receipt.
