This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Janitorial Services for the Redbird Ranger Station Office and Redbird Ranger Station Work Center located on the Redbird Ranger District of the Daniel Boone National Forest in Clay County, Kentucky for a Base Year + 4 Option Years, if exercised. The contractor shall furnish all necessary management, labor, supervision, and other items necessary (except as specified as Government-furnished property) in accordance with the schedule of items, specifications, attachments, terms and conditions of the contract.


This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for commercial items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.
The solicitation is issued under Solicitation No. AG-531A-S-17-0001 and the solicitation is attached to this notice as an attachment. 

There is no formal site showing for this project. However, a pre-quote tour of the buildings may be arranged by calling Shannon Meadows or Robert Claybrook at 606-598-2192 at the Redbird Ranger District.

This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business concerns. If interested, please refer to Page 4, Important Notice to Offerors, to see what needs to be completed and returned with your Offer. Offers are due by 4:30 PM EST on Tuesday, June 13, 2017.

All interested firms are advised that registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) formerly Central Contractor Registration (CCR) is required to be eligible for award of a contract. For more information, please check the SAM website at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. Registration in SAM is free.

The Forest Service contemplates award of a firm-fixed price contract as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be the most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Award will be made using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, therefore the evaluation procedures at FAR 13.106-2 will be used.
