Janitorial Services at TSA Leased Space - Boise Airport, Boise, Idaho

The General Services Administration (GSA), Northwest Arctic Region, intends to solicit Request for Proposals (RFP) for a Firm Fixed Price type contract for janitorial services contract (NAICS 561720) within the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Leased Space at Boise Idaho, Airport, located in Boise Idaho. The contractor shall provide the management, supervision, labor, manpower, subcontracts, materials, equipment and supplies necessary to provide janitorial services in a responsible, cost effective, environmentally friendly manner. The interior cleanable space is 8873 SF and requires cleaning 7 days per week, 365 days per year.

The RFP, with performance work statement, is to be issued on or about October 1, 2014. Offers will be due on or about November 3, 2014, with award on or about December 1, 2014. GSA intends to establish a firm-fixed price, performance based contract. Performance period is January 1, 2015 through December 31, 2015, with potential for four (4) - one (1) year option periods. This acquisition is being considered for a small business set-aside. 1) Provide any certifications of small business status through SBA, 2) Capability statement including recent and relevant work of similar size and scope; 3) A positive statement that your firm intends to propose on this acquisition. Based on the responses, the Contracting Officer will make a determination based on the expectation of adequate competition whether to set aside by socio-economic category, or 100% small business set aside. It is the responsibility of offerors to monitor www.fedbizoppos.gov for the release of the solicitation, any amendments and additional information. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be provided.

This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. Successful offerors will be required to successfully complete the GSA & Boise Airport Security Clearance processes. Successful offeror will be required to be actively registered in System Acquisition Management, and have an active DUNS and Bradstreet number prior to award. Offerors not already registered in SAM database are highly encouraged to register via Internet at http://www.SAM.gov. In accordance with FAR 4.1201(a) prospective contractors shall complete Electronic Annual Representations and Certifications at http://orca.bpn.gov in conjunction with required registration in the CCR Database. In accordance with FAR 5.102 interested parties may access the solicitation at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. This site provides instructions for downloading the solicitation file.
