Network Contracting Office (NCO) is planning to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for janitorial services at the American Samoa Community-Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC). The contractor shall direct daily custodial cleaning operations, and aseptic cleaning as needed, supervise custodial personnel, develop cleaning schedules, make quality control inspections, hire and train employees, communicate and coordinate with building personnel, forecast material usage, and provide all cleaning supplies, equipment, and materials. The American Samoa CBOC located at Te'o Reserve Center, Tafuna, Pago Pago, American Samoa. The approximate size of the CBOC is 10,000 square feet.

The solicitation number for this RFP is VA261-14-Q-1437. The solicitation will be issued on or about September 16, 2014, with an anticipated proposal due date of September 24, 2014. This solicitation is a re-solicitation from VA261-14-Q-0863 that was cancelled on September 16, 2014 due to a change in scope.

The Period of Performance of the Base Year begins on or about October 1, 2014 through September 30, 2015 with four (4) one year option periods. Given the short time frame, if the contractor needs additional time to mobilize, the start date will be pushed back to November 1, 2014.

The NAICS is 561720 and the size standard is $16.5 million. This will be a firm fixed priced contract.

Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov.
