The USDA Forest Service, Gifford Pinchot National Forest is soliciting offers for janitorial Services for the Mount Adams Ranger District administrative compound buildings. The compound buildings are located at 2455 Highway 141, Trout Lake, Washington 98650. The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, transportation, labor, tools, equipment, and supplies (except those provided by the government) necessary to ensure that custodial services are performed in accordance with the solicitation requirements. The area to be cleaned is approximately 10,860 square feet.

This commercial acquisition is a 100% Small Business set-aside. The applicable NAICS code is 561720- Janitorial Services. The corresponding size standard is $18.0 million. Offerors will be evaluated on technical capability (experience), past performance and price. The Contract will be awarded to the offeror whose submittal, in compliance with the solicitation, is the best value to the Government.


All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the government. In accordance with FAR 4.1102(a), prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award of a contract. Lack of registration in the SAM Database will render an offeror ineligible for award. SAM replaced the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. Offerors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via the internet at: https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/.


A solicitation for this project, following the procedures of FAR Part 12 for the procurement of Commercial Items, will be posted to this website on February 22, 2017 with offers due March 13 2017.
