James River Reserve Fleet - Purchase and Delivery of Tugboat
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; price quotes are being requested and a written solicitation is attached. The solicitation number is stated above, and it is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-74, effective May 30, 2014.
NAICS code 336612 applies. This is a small business set-aside.
The U.S. Maritime Administration (MARAD), Norfolk, VA intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order for purchase and delivery of a 37'-45' tugboat in accordance with the Request for Quotation to the James River Reserve Fleet, Fort Eustis Army Post, Newport News, Virginia.
The requested delivery is 180-days from award date.
All Potential Offerors are required to be a registered vendor in the System for Award Management Maintenance (SAM); formerly Central Contractor Register (CCR) for the applicable referenced NAICS code.
All Potential Offerors can submit any questions from the review of the solicitation package in writing (email) to the Contracting Officer, [email protected] by 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 1, 2014. Please reference RFQ #DTMA92Q140022 in the subject. Responses determined to be necessary will be issued by amendment to the solicitation package.
