Mandatory pre-proposal meeting: July 7, 2010
The County Department of Corrections and the County Youth Center seek a new information system to replace their current VT 3270 terminal emulated system for Booking and Classification.
We prefer an off-the-shelf solution that will meet our needs for Booking and
Classification; however, we are open to other forms of creative solutions. Vendors are
expected to respond to this proposal with the new system and a clear explanation of how
the gaps will be handled between the proposed system and the current DCDC/DCYC
system. Our generic vision for the new system is shown in Figure 1, below.
