An Industry Day hosted by the Government for the Joint Systems Manufacturing Center - Lima (JSMC-L) Facility Contract source selection is scheduled as follows:


Date: Tuesday, 29 August 2017
Time: 9:00 A.M. (Eastern Time Zone) to 5:00 P.M.
Check-In from 8:00 A.M. to 9:00 A.M.
Location: Joint Systems Manufacturing Center - Lima
1155 Buckeye Rd.
Lima, OH 45804


Arrival Instructions: Upon entering from Buckeye Rd, stay in the left lane leading to the main employee lot (do not turn right towards the canopy inspection area). Park in any open space and proceed to the Pedestrian Sentry Station, Bldg. 57.


Lodging: Responsibility of the attendee. Travel Information is attached for convenience.


Dress: Business Casual, no open-toed or high heel shoes. Attire should be appropriate for walking though manufacturing areas.


Note 1: Lunch will be available at the on-site cafeteria at the attendees' own expense (cash only). Attendees may bring their own lunch if they so desire. Re-entry to the facility will not be permitted.


Note 2: Cameras are prohibited. Cell phones will be permitted but photos/videos are STRICTLY prohibited. Any person taking photos/videos will have their phone confiscated by the DA police force and photos/videos deleted.


Conference Registration Instructions:


Please submit the following information electronically to usarmy.detroit.acc.mbx.wrn-jsmc-ss@mail.mil no later than 5:00 PM EST 18 August 2017 to pre-register for Industry Day. Pre-registration is mandatory in order to attend. Attendance is open only to U.S. Citizens and U.S. based firms who plan on bidding as a Prime Contractor. The Government will permit a maximum of five (5) individuals per Prime Contractor to register and attend, including any subcontractors. Only group registrations will be processed. The following information shall be provided for every attendee:


1. Prime Contractor Group
2. Individual attendees full name and title
3. Individual attendees e-mail address
4. Company name
5. Company Cage Code
6. Telephone number
7. Citizenship Status (U.S. Federal or state issued ID card required at Industry Day check-in)
8. Identify if your company is a U.S. based firm along with the address of your U.S. based headquarters.
9. Do you wish to have your company name included on a published list of attendees?


When submitting pre-conference registration information, please include "JSMC-L Industry Day Registration" in the email subject line. The Government will post any changes to the time, date or location of Industry Day to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website under this announcement. Please search W56HZV17RJSMC for updates.


Prior to Industry Day, you may submit questions via electronic e-mail to usarmy.detroit.acc.mbx.wrn-jsmc-ss@mail.mil.


Use the following format for your question submittals:


1. E-mail subject line should read "JSMC-L Industry Day Question."
2. Submit questions in an organized manner directly in the e-mail text.
3. Keep questions brief and to the point.
4. Do not send information marketing a firm's capabilities.


Questions submitted after Industry Day must also utilize the above procedures. No oral questions are permitted during the conference; however, attendees will have an opportunity to submit written questions on 3x5 cards.


The Government may respond to questions using the following methods: during the conference; via public posting to the FBO Website after the conference; or via the formal solicitation release. If addressed via formal solicitation release, the Government may not respond directly to your question but will incorporate its response into the final solicitation.


The formal solicitation is the final response to all questions received prior to its release.
