This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes only the solicitation: quotes are being requested. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) under solicitation number DTMA93Q140033. The NAICS code is 561720 and the Small Business Standard is $16.5M. See attached SF1449 for complete information. The Department of Transportation (DOT) Maritime Administration (MARAD) Gulf Region Reserve Fleet is requesting quotes for Janitorial services for the Beaumont Reserve Fleet facilities located at 2600 Amoco Road, Beaumont, Texas 77705.
All questions and/or quotes to this Request for Quotation (RFQ) should be directed to the Department of Transportation via email to [email protected]. ; Reference DTMA93Q140033on your inquiries, quotes will be due on Monday, 28 July 2014, 1:00 p.m. CDT. The government anticipates award of a firm fixed price contract as result of this RFQ. Award will be made to the lowest priced responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government. Quotes received will be evaluated on the basis of best value. The Government intends to make award without discussions, however, the Government reserves the right to conduct discussions, if it is decided that it is in the best interest of the Government.
