JANITORIAL SERVICES FOR THE NORTH UMPQUA RANGER STATION
THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a complete package is attached for offerors to return.
PROVISIONS AND CLAUSES: The following provisions and clauses are hereby incorporated into this RFQ by reference; (full text of the clauses may be accessed electronically at www.arnet.gov/far/): FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items (OCT 2018) and FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (OCT 2018). The following provisions and clauses are hereby incorporated into this RFQ in full text: FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation- Commercial Items (OCT 2014), FAR 52.212-3, Offerors Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (OCT 2018) and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes of Executive Orders-Commercial Items (AUG 2018).
The project is 100% set aside for Small Business concerns. The NAICS code associated with this acquisition is 561720 and the small business size standard for the code is $18 million average receipts over the past three years.
DESCRIPTION: The Contractor shall furnish the necessary personnel, material, equipment, services and facilities (except as otherwise specified), to perform janitorial services for the U.S. Forest Service, Umpqua National Forest, North Umpqua Ranger Station, Glide, OR. Glide is 18 miles east of Roseburg, OR.
The area consists of Office Building No. 2013 (approximately 8115 square feet), Office Building No. 2009 (approximately 2619 square feet), Office Building No. 2014 (approximately 900 square feet), Engineering Room in Warehouse (approximately 152 square feet), Warehouse Restroom, and the Colliding Rivers House Building No. 1084 (approximately 1600 square feet). The square footage refers to net assignable and related use space, including all restrooms and inside storage areas.
BIOBASED PRODUCTS: This procurement requires the use of Biobased products to the extent that such products are reasonably available, meet agency or relevant industry performance standards, and are reasonably priced. The products should first be acquired from USDA designated products categories.
PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The anticipated contract period is January 1, 2019 through December 31, 2019, with four (4) option years.
BACKGROUND CHECKS: Office of Personnel Management background investigations are required for janitorial personnel.
